Leith SNP
For a Better Leith
A Better Scotland
A Better World
To be in the driving seat of our own destiny and to shape our own future is a natural desire. It is what we all hope for ourselves and it is what the SNP believes is right for Scotland.

Fairness
A Fairer Scotland
Our vision is to build a fairer Scotland where everyone feels valued and we properly support our most vulnerable people.

Health
A Healthier Scotland
The National Health Service is our most cherished public service. The SNP will never waiver in our belief that it must remain a publicly funded service, free at the point of use.

Environment
A Greener Scotland
By continuing to set ourselves ambitious targets to reduce carbon emissions we will protect our environment for future generations.

Our Activities
Social Media
Leith SNP is active on a range of social media. We are passionate about digital inclusion and work hard to make sure our voices are heard.
Social Events
Politics is all about people – are we are very sociable people. Whether it’s a coffee morning, St Andrew’s Day celebrations or just a drink and a chat, there’s always something to come along to.
Branch Representation
Leith SNP is represented by delegates at our party Conference, National Council, our Constituency Association and the Edinburgh City Association. Our very own Roz Currie is also on the SNP National Executive Committee.
Campaigning Activities
We work hard to support and campaign for our elected representatives and candidates by regularly canvassing, leafleting, and helping to organise events.
Community Engagement
Our local community is very important to members of Leith SNP. We are active in the community, and are involved with the issues that are important to the people of Leith. You may see some of us at one of our regular SNP stalls, if you do please come along, say hello, and pick up a badge!
Branch Meetings
We have our branch meetings on the third Wednesday of every month in the Leith Dockers Club, 17A Academy Street, Leith. Our meetings are relaxed, informal and participatory.

The long weeks of the school summer holidays are upon us and there’s even been some sunshine on Leith… Albeit some heavy rain too… For many families in our area, whether there’s sunshine or not, the school summer holidays are a happy period. They are often a time for a break from work and the […]
The SNP, Brexit and Calls for a General Election
